Giveaway – 4 free tickets to Halloween Town – Boston

Before I return to my regularly scheduled programming, I would like to announce my first giveaway contest! I have in my possession a free family four pack to Boston Medical Center’s Halloween Town which will be held on Oct 24-25 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.  Dan Zanes and Friends will be performing in concert, and throughout the party there will be costumed characters, face painting, giveaways, laser tag, games, and more!  I’ll admit I’m a tad nervous about my first contest (akin to the showing up at school in underwear kind of paranoia) that NO ONE will enter.  So please, consider a fun night out with the family supporting a good cause.

Proceeds for the event benefit the Boston Medical Center’s Kids Fund.

“Since 1984, the Kids Fund has been quietly performing little miracles for some of Boston’s neediest children. Our goal is to provide assistance for children’s most basic needs, whether it’s a mattress for a family whose home has been burned to the ground, or special formula for a baby suffering from malnutrition, or funds to help send a city-bound kid to summer camp.

The Kids Fund works in collaboration with the Pediatric faculty and staff in supporting and initiating programs and in making little miracles happen every day. Our support is simple and direct. We want to do everything possible to give children a chance for growth, for a healthy and bright future.”

Contest Rules:

The winner must live within 100 miles of Boston.

To enter, submit a comment on this post and tell me what your kids are wearing for Halloween costumes this year.

The contest will run through 5:00 PM EST on Thursday October 15, 2009.  The winner will be contaced via email for their mailing address.

    I’ll take a stab!

Kacey will be going out for Halloween as Hannah Montanna this year! She is so in love with her that I couldn’t say no.

Little Katelyn will be a cute little pumpkin. What is halloween without a cute little jack-o-katelyn. :) She is adorable and warm at the same time.

My 6 year old will be a muscle-bound, nunchuck twirling ninja and I will be a punk rocker from the 80s!! Fun times!

My one and only daughter is going to be a pretty angel. As first, she wanted to be a witch, then, a fairy then pikachu. But as soon as we were hunting for a costume…she immediately decided, she wants to be an angel. I said, Oh my, what a good choice! Just right for being a choir member at our church.

  • Hi, as you can see from my address I am NOT entering this giveaway, but wanted to stop by and say Hi.

Your blog caught my eye as we have arranged a home exchage for next summer and will be spending part of our time inCape Cod and the rest inthe greater Boston area, so hoping your blog will be a source of info on kid-friendly places to visit with kids.

I am also planning to attend blogher 10 while we are there – can’t wait!

    So hello :)
