When I confirmed that I would be partnering again with Mom Central to promote the next Feld Entertainment show that is coming to our area, I made one teeny tiny mistake. I told my daughter that we are going to see the show a full three weeks before our opening night tickets. That would be three weeks very long weeks I have ahead of me of non stop excitement, and requests for finite details of a show that has my daughter beside herself with glee. It’s all good; I am very excited as well. Thank you to the fine folks at Mom Central for sending my family free tickets to the show.
I do not believe there is a child anywhere in the Boston/Providence area (OK, plenty of adults too) who would not go head-over-heels gaga to go see Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Magic. For my four year old, this is a dream come true. Given that the show is coming to town right after Holidays, Christmas for this little girl will just keep on going. The promise of seeing Mickey, Minnie, and her favorite princesses is sure to bring many a night of sweet dreams to come.
While I am psyched for my family, I am equally thrilled for one of my lucky readers. Mom Central is providing me with a family four pack of tickets to give away! I therefore am proud to announce my second giveaway contest.

Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Magic:

Okay, so who are my kids favorite disney characters? That’s easy: Everyone & Noone.
My two year old daughter, Ella (who will be three one week from today) would gladly tell you that ALL disney characters are her favorite. And although she loves her Winnie the Pooh and Minnie Mouse books, dolls, and videos, her actual favorite is probably Jack Skellington (from the Nightmare Before Christmas…or “Halloween” as she calls it)! Despite being only two, that remains one of her favorite movies. Her early leanings towards off-colored humor already make me proud.
Now my ten year old nephew (of whom I’m a legal guardian), Nathan would ellude to how he is ten, and therefore, way too cool to be into disney characters. What his 5th grader mentality won’t tell you is that he would secretly like to go to disney on ice. In the same way that he acts when he gets caught playing with Ella’s toys or watching her movies, he would most likely feign a disinterest if he knew anybody was watching him. However, once you let him know that The Incredibles, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and the Pirates of the Carribean were disney movies he might change his story.
Thanks for doing this Maria!
I just asked Meredith who her favorite is and got a blank stare, as in, “I have to pick ONE?” With a little proding, the final answer is Ariel because “she is the prettiest and I like fish.”
Bonus Entry: I follow your blog on facebook.
We have quite a few Disney favorites in our home, too. My daughter Grace (5 in February) is a fan of all of the princesses, of course, with Belle and Mulan tied for her favorites. She started skating last year, and *thinks* she’s a pro already, practicing in her socks gliding across the floor!
My son Charlie (3 in March) is a HUGE fan of Toy Story. He doesn’t go anywhere without his Buzz! They both also LOVE Nemo, Nightmare Before Christmas, and the Incredibles.
We had our 5th child, Benjamin, in February and my husband was laid off a week later. The older kids, Samantha (14) and Spencer (12), are great about understanding our financial situation right now. When I first saw the ads, I thought, “Okay, we’ll shoot for that next year.” But, we are so thankful for all of our blessings this season and hopeful about what the new year will bring!
My daughter, who is 2, has recently become obsessed with Disney and Mickey Mouse is her favorite character. Goofy is running a close second and if Toodles were a real Disney character I think he would be her favorite!
To pick just one, that is tough, as she has a love for all of the Disney Princesses! I have to admit, I love them all too!
Donald Duck
I can’t be included due to distance… but Jordan’s favorite princess is definitely Ariel. Like mother, like daughter!
My daughter is 27 months and has just started to admire, the disney characters. She loves all her Disney Princesses, and has the complete Disney bed with Disney princess Comforter and sheets.
She loves her Disney dolls, Clothing, Sleepware, and her Disney snowboots. She recently received
Disney light up sneakers. This Christmas she will be receiving a Disney Stove and Kitchen set.
But, Hush, its a surprise from her Auntie. I have to say i really believe her favorite is Tinkerbell. Though she is quite fond of Mickey and Minney, tigger, winnie the pooh, and eyeore.
My dream is to take her to Disney Land someday when she is old enough to enjoy it. I don’t think i can win the tickets cause we are related but i love your site and read your blog posts and adore my little cousins. God Bless you and your family And have a Merry Christmas….
Congratulations to Jesse! Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest.
