I have been thinking a lot about lasts the past few days. The last thing I said to my son and daughter as they left for preschool and first grade in the morning. The last time I yelled at them, which was probably a half hour before they left for school. The last joke I [...] Fall brought great changes to our family. To say that my work has been challenging is the understatement of a century. This is the first time that my work life balance has been thrown into complete upheaval. Throughout the month of October I was working 65+ hour weeks, traveling constantly, catching what few hours of [...] A few evenings ago I had fallen asleep on the couch for about 20 minutes. This fleeting power nap had left me a tad disoriented, but I still managed to go through our pre-bed routine of getting the kids settled in for the night.
